An eye needn't always sparkle to be glamorous. Take away the shine and give Paris Hilton's barely smokey makeup a go. A generous sweep of matte shadow creates the setting. Then a darker shadow is swept back and forth just under the brow bone. This time she takes care not to darken the bottom of her eye too much. Paris makes use of a thin black rim over her top lashes. She extends it to the end of her eye and no further. It's a great way to adapt the look of a smokey eye to the day, or any time you'd prefer a more understated stare (while still drawing stares).
